Vim and vigor. When those two exist fireworks explode and suddenly life actually comes alive. Creativity and ideas exude from me like breath. And yet I don't have a desire to produce pieces of art in a particular medium, though I am constantly creating. I want to include and interact with people, artists and non-artists, in an aesthetic appreciation of the world. I probed further in this area and saw a disparity between the artist and the general public, between art and the non-artist. Where is the bridge? We seem to be planting ourselves further and further from that bridge. There is a huge lack of understanding art in all forms and how to interact with it. Not only that but the divide between artists and non-artists seems to be widening. What can bridge that gap and why is it widening?
There are enough defenses of art today to fill the Grand Canyon. Art exists. Always has and always will. There is not need to defend it or explain it. Now we just need ACTION. We need to reveal the aesthetic sense that lies in each one of us and propels aspects our lives whether we regard it’s influence or not. So thats what I am doing. I'm acting on it. Come on in, learn, understand, and go forth! It costs you nothing. Its benefits... well, just give it a try. Sometimes you just need to get up in there and make people pay attention.
